European made baths & basins

Silkstone engineered stone baths & basins by Faucet Strommen are cast/hand finished in Estonia, Europe from natural minerals and resins.

Silkstone is created using the unique SPS process combining natural minerals and resins. This forms a monolithic engineered stone very strong and resistant to scratching.

Beautiful Nordic designs create a stunning focal point in bathing rooms & the satin finish is smooth to the touch, backed with a with a 25 year warranty.

Lead free Brass

For your peace of mind, Faucet Strommen produce all components in contact with drinking water from UltraBrass, which is a special lead free copper alloy/brass being unique for its health benefits.

Despite the Australian compliance standards allowing for small amounts of lead in brass (4-6%), we stepped ahead with UltraBrass to eliminate this harmful metal.

UltraBrass is also bismuth free. Whilst the exposure to small amounts of bismuth may not be harmful, bismuth poisoning can cause pain, fever and bone weakness.
