The Oliveri Spectra Top, Flush & Under Mount 1 & 1/2 Double Bowl Sink 790mm, Gunmetal SB35GM is made from Stainless Steel & PVD coated in Gunmetal, bringing a splash of colour into the kitchen.

Oliveri has been designing and manufacturing sinks since 1947, Oliveri's proud heritage is based on consistently high quality products and enviable customer service.

This Oliveri sink is made from 304 grade stainless steel, also known as 18/10. These numbers simply illustrate the percentage of chromium and nickel content present in the stainless steel. For example, 18/10 stainless steel means there is approximately 18% chromium and 8-10% nickel.

Colouring of this Oliveri sink is achieved through a Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD). The solid coating material of the stainless steel is evaporated by heat, while at the same time a reactive gas is introduced and it forms a compound with the vapour which is deposited on the steel as a thin, highly adherent coating. This method is environmentally friendly due to its non-use of hazardous chemicals as opposed to other methods of colouring such as electroplating or painting.
